DR PATRICK NGASSA PIOTIE
Dr Patrick Ngassa Piotie is a physician, public health researcher and global health leader with two decades of experience across medicine, public health and health systems strengthening in Africa. He is Co-founder of the University of Pretoria Diabetes Research Centre and Chairperson of Diabetes Alliance South Africa. A recognised advocate for improved diabetes care and prevention, he was a lead contributor to the Johannesburg Declaration for Accelerated Action on Diabetes in South Africa.
