Orientation & Mobility – Role in the birth to 3yr age group

R195.00

Orientation & Mobility focuses on the skills necessary for an individual with a visual impairment to become independently mobile and active in their daily lives. In the birth to three age groups, this includes things such as working on gross and fine motor skills, sensory stimulation, body and spatial awareness development, communication skill development and early cane use skills. This webinar aims to share the typical developmental challenges that might be experienced in infants and toddlers with visual impairments and highlight the role Orientation & Mobility specialists can play in supporting development, alongside the role of other health care professionals, such as OTs and physios.
