Annemarie Lindeque-Smit was born and raised in Parys, Free State. She obtained her B.Optom degree and diagnostic privileges with distinction from the University of Johannesburg and opened a private practice in Parys in 2004. Her focus in practice is holistic: The eye is a window to your health and with every eye examination, she not only strives for excellence and appropriate vision correction, but also focuses on the health of the eye and how it relates to rest of the body.
Annemarie is passionate about optometry and holistic healthy living. Having faced extreme health challenges herself, only increased her love and compassion for people and to help them obtain great vision and health. She is known as a very caring and meticulous optometrist.
Together with her amazing team, they offer a wide variety of services, including specialized hard contact lens fittings, behavioral optometry, vision therapy, holistic care and much more.
Annemarie is married to Johan, a geohydrologist and they have three sons.
